The Briary Meadow Arbour was created in 2006.
A central feature of a village green area in the Briary Meadow development in Haddington.
The design is based on the Briar Rose which can be found growing locally in the hedgerows.

Throw Back Friday! The South Porch Gates, St Michael's Church, Linlithgow. Created in 2009. The design, which consists of intertwining tendrils, leaves & hanging grapes, is representative of the true vine. Due to Grade A listed building status, permission had to be obtained for the addition of a gate to the building. The gate design was approved but no fixings were allowed into the fabric of the building to hang the gate. The overthrow is ingeniously clamped around the curved pillars, holding it firmly in place. Throw back Friday! Steam Punk Lectern, The Engine Shed, Stirling, Historic Scotland. Created in 2018 for a new lecture theatre at The Engine Shed, Historic Environment Scotland's dedicated building conservation centre. A lot of fun to create and one of those very few jobs with no drawing! We incorporated the original railway lines from the Engine Shed, stripped out a redundant lathe for some of the elements, sourced other parts from the darkest corners of the workshop and picked up the old gauges from a gauge calibration company that were no longer servicable. #rathobyresforge #historicenvironmentscotland #stirling #steampunk #steampunkart #steampunkartwork #artistblacksmith
